As someone who spends long nights reading, writing, studying, and snuggling with my main squeeze, that first cup of deliciousness is an absolute must! It’s the fuel to my engine, if you will.
I know many of you would agree! Well, it was to my dismay that I woke up to find my pantry lacking of my favorite Colombian brew, Pilon. It’s a sad and long sluggish-like day when I don’t have my morning pick me up. Although, a tablespoon of Bragg’s Apple cider vinegar in eight ounces of water does a nice job in giving you a boost to start your day. I for one, still need my cup of goodness.
Ah, but there is hope yet! For my dearest has gone out to retrieve the richness that is Pilon! So, I suppose you’re wondering what makes this cup of joe oh so amazing? Well, keep reading for the recipe and you’ll understand.
- 1/2 a cup of brewed Pilon (or your choice)
- 1/4 of Soy milk
- A drop of vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons of Nutiva organic coconut sugar
***Optional*** add a bit of cinnamon to really get your tastebuds dancing!
Give this a try and please let me know how you enjoyed it! Cheers!
